Steve is co-creator of the Cartoon Network's multi-billion dollar Ben 10 franchise, as part of Man of Action Studios, with Duncan Rouleau, Joe Casey and Joe Kelly. He is also co-creator, with Duncan Rouleau, of Marvel Comics' BIG HERO 6, the basis for Disney's Academy Award-winning animated film of the same name.
Steve is also known for his work as a writer of comic books, graphic novels, film and television (Superman, Ultimate Spiderman, Avengers Assemble, among others), and for his nationally acclaimed graphic novel memoir It's a Bird, illustrated by Teddy Kristiansen (Vertigo, May 2004).
Dayton was instrumental in the publication of Steve's first graphic novel (Kafka, 1987) and Steve helped Dayton launch Digital Air in 1995.
