  Digital Air was founded in 1995 to commercialize Dayton Taylor's Virtual Camera Movement invention.

  Dayton's first Timetrack™ film camera (1994) is in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian National Museum of American History in Washington, DC.

  In 2007 Dayton received the Saxby Award for achievement in the field of three-dimensional imaging from the Royal Photographic Society in London.
