COBERCO 'The Grass is Greener'
directed by Rene Eller
|
|
Slow motion shots filmed with Timetrack 40 lens straight camera, 40 lens 107 degree curved camera, and 25 lens 130 degree curved camera.
Director Rene Eller wanted to "approach the frozen moment" in this campaign, so rather than freezing everything we shot most of it with our high speed sequential shutter systems.
With the sequential shutter systems there is a slight time delay from frame-to-frame (lens-to-lens), which results in the slow-motion effect.
The technique we used in this spot (produced in 1997) is what the producers of THE MATRIX ended up calling bullet-time, or flo-motion.
